Senior General Accountant – with cost / inventory

About the Role
The Senior General Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team, providing analytical support and leading financial projects. This role is critical in managing financial close processes, budgeting, tax compliance, and supporting various accounting functions, including cost accounting and fixed assets.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage financial projects , ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Prepare and process monthly and annual financial close and general ledger entries .
Conduct account reconciliations, audit schedule reviews, and financial statement preparation .
Support corporate tax compliance , including sales / use tax, property tax, and franchise tax filings.
Analyze cost accounting metrics , including cost of sales variances, profitability, and product mix.
Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting team.
Provide support to general accountants and assist international divisions with monthly close processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Exposure to cost accounting and fixed asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications ; ERP experience
