Job Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for providing technical assistance and support for electrical and industrial equipment. This position involves customer support, product installation, troubleshooting, and sales support activities in various sectors, including electrical power distribution and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.
Essential Duties :
Assist customers in the proper selection of products, installation, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
Travel, as required, to assess product potentials, customer needs, and assist in the sales process.
Maintain clear communication with assigned sales territories to ensure sales support is provided according to sales plans.
Arrange and conduct meetings with customers at company headquarters.
Present products, systems, and problem solutions to customers at conferences and events as scheduled by sales personnel.
Assist with promotional activities, including trade shows and marketing events.
Interface and communicate with marketing personnel to provide market feedback for successful product specifications and development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Associate's Degree in Electronics; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology preferred.
Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum one year of experience working with electrical and industrial equipment preferred.
