Required Credential(s) for this position
- California Education Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild / Moderate Disabilities (with English Learner Authorization)
- California Special Education Mild to Moderate Support Needs ( MMSN) Teaching Credential with CLAD / EL authorization
Accepting Provisional Internship Permit (PIP), Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP), and Intern Credential applicants.
Mojave Unified participates in the Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS) Teacher induction program. Participating teachers are provided with excellent Support Providers and participation in the program is fully funded by the District.
Eligible University Interns are also encouraged to apply for all Mojave Unified openings. The District partners with numerous Universities to employ and support teachers working under an intern credential. Brandman University; Cal State University - Bakersfield and San Bernardino; Fresno Pacific University; National University; Point Loma Nazarene University; Western Governors University; University of La Verne; and University of Phoenix are all among the schools we partner with. In addition, all Interns are assigned an experienced colleague who will serve as their dedicated Intern Mentor.
