Data Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Security Engineer to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a consulting and advisory expert, you will design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement MS DLP and MCAS solutions

- Create high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and standard operating procedures (SOP)

- Conduct system requirements and network sizing checks

- Plan for integration with other system components (e.g., AD, DL, SIEM)

- Participate in implementation and rollout planning

- Engage with stakeholders and gather requirements

- Identify data classification use cases and onboard cloud applications

Requirements

- 8-10 years of experience in data and information security

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft DLP and MCAS architecture and components

- Experience designing and implementing data security solutions

- ITIL process knowledge

- Microsoft certification (or equivalent) is a plus

Nice to Have

- Professional certifications in Enterprise Security

- Experience with Microsoft Information Protection and DLP

- Knowledge of data security domain and best practices
