Contract Duration: 12 months (with extension)

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $47/hr to $53/hr (Negotiable depending on experience & engagement terms)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Release Manager with a strong infrastructure background to oversee and manage software releases for our client in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JIRA, Rally, and other Agile tools to coordinate, plan, and execute seamless deployments across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases, ensuring timely and successful deployments.

2.Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to define release scope, schedules, and dependencies.3.Oversee the release lifecycle, from planning and development to testing and deployment.4.Identify risks and resolve issues that may impact release timelines or quality.5.Ensure compliance with release management processes, best practices, and ITIL standards.6.Maintain and improve release management tools, documentation, and workflows.7.Conduct post-release reviews, gather feedback, and implement process improvements.8.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and minimize disruptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1.8 years of experience in release management, software deployment, or DevOps roles.

2.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).

3.Strong expertise in JIRA, Rally, and Agile methodologies.

4.Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management best practices.

5.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

6.Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

7.Experience managing complex releases in hybrid environments (on-premise & cloud).

Preferred Qualifications:

1.ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications.

2.Experience in regulated industries such as finance, or insurance.
