We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network installation and cabling, with the ability to work independently in the field. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, ensuring optimal performance for our clients. The Cable Technician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service and support in telecommunications.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of cabling systems including Ethernet and low voltage wiring.
- Perform network installations and ensure proper configuration of telecommunication equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to cabling systems and provide effective solutions.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing and diagnosing cable performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and field service teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver license and social security card/Number;
- Have a white minivan or pick-up truck/Not mandatory;
