What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Maintenance Technician position at Molded Dimensions Group?
Molded Dimensions Group manufactures urethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining.
We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to setup and maintain pouring machines and associated equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up machines for each run and repair manufacturing equipment used in the production of urethane parts, as they arise. Will need to work in a fast-paced environment, have strong mechanical skills and float as production support when needed.
1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working in the manufacturing environment.
- Be willing to float in production support areas as needed.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
- Minimum of 3 years experience repairing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Previous experience as an industrial mechanic or technician is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all work activities.
