Molding Operator

Molded Dimensions Group is a leader in custom molding solutions, providing high-quality, precision-engineered parts to a variety of industries. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Molding Machine Operators in our Rubber division. The successful candidate will operate and maintain a molding machine, ensuring the production of high-quality molded parts in a safe and efficient manner. Hours: (Monday – Friday)

1st shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm

2nd shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm

3rd shift: 9:00pm - 5:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate an injection molding machine according to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, ensuring parts meet quality specifications.
• Position and secure inserts and load rubber into machine
• Remove finished products from machine using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
• Perform finishing work on molded product, including manual clipping, trimming, sorting and assembly of parts produced.
• Conduct quality checks on parts and complete documentation as required.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a molding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Above all, be dependable!
