Mole Lake Casino Lodge & Conference Center is looking for a Casino Host.
Position Summary:
Responsible for improving guest services, developing and implementing new promotions, and maintaining and cultivating relationships with VIP guests with the goal of increasing business and overall revenue. This position is one that requires hours worked during nights, weekends, and holidays as casino peak times are generally outside normal business hours. Must be able to perform all duties in compliance with SGEC Tribal ordinances, policies and procedures, and Tribal Internal Controls (TICS).
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Interact and build relationships with existing players, while increasing the player database by attracting and acquiring new clientele.
· Present a high level of guest service for casino clientele that is gracious, enthusiastic, and personalized.
· Consistently demonstrate exemplary customer service skills, providing a positive role model for casino floor employees.
· Handle difficult situations in a calm, professional manner.
· Respond to guest requests and work independently to resolve guest concerns and conflicts in a fair, equitable, and timely manner.
· Utilize player database to assist the Marketing Department in targeting and developing high value guests and improve overall marketing efforts.
· Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of marketing strategies on and off property.
· Assist with the execution of assigned parties, promotions, special events, and/or tournaments.
· Facilitate full integration with all casino departments and provide feedback to the management team on guest preferences and expectations.
· Has supervisory responsibilities for Promo Staff, scheduling, assist with evaluations, disciplinary action, and training.
· All other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director.
· All other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Two forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID.
· 3-5 years’ casino experience preferred.
· Must submit to and pass a drug and alcohol test per Sokaogon Gaming Enterprise Corporation (SGEC) Drug and Alcohol Policy.
· Must pass a Background Investigation.
· Successfully complete a 60-day probationary period.
· Must be able to take and pass a Title 31 Compliance test within 30 days of hire.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Office tools.
· Must possess leadership skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Must be able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment demonstrating professionalism with prompt and courteous service and extreme attention to detail.
· Must be able to physically perform all aspects of the position including flexible hours and the ability to stand for long periods.
· The ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality with employees, guests, and company information.
· Ability to perform all other duties as assigned by casino management.
· Native American preference granted according to P.L. 93-638.

· Business attire.
· Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
· Sokaogon Gaming Commission (SGC) issued Gaming License/ID Badge.
