Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and inventory management.
• Monitor pricing strategies and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing promotional activities and merchandising strategies.
• Conduct regular audits of store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Skills

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a grocery store or retail environment.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent team management abilities, capable of motivating staff to achieve performance goals.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and employee scheduling software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
