Job Title: Insurance Agency Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient administrative assistant to join our insurance agency. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including sales, customer service, and general office management.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase agency revenue
- Follow up with leads and clients to answer questions and provide information on insurance products and services
- Create and update client records and policies in agency database
- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote agency services and generate leads
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide guidance and assistance to clients on policy coverage and claims processes
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
General Office Management Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documents
- Assist with the preparation of materials for meetings and presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
- State Insurance Licenses is a plus but not required.
