Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and results-driven Dental Practice Manager to lead our team and ensure the efficient operation of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, a proven track record of achieving production goals, and exceptional leadership skills. As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, enhancing patient satisfaction, and driving the practice towards meeting and exceeding its production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain office procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor and manage practice finances, including budgeting, billing, and collections.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed production goals.
- Analyze financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Staff Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise office staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Patient Care and Satisfaction:
- Ensure high standards of patient care and service.
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement patient retention and growth strategies.
Marketing and Growth:
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the dental team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Production Goals:
- Set and track production targets for the practice.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed production goals.
- Regularly review practice performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage office inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Oversee scheduling and coordinate with dental professionals to optimize appointment slots.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A dental or healthcare management certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dental office management or a similar role, with a proven track record of meeting production goals.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in dental practice management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies based on insights.
