What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Molle Audi?
Molle Audi of Kansas City is fast growing and is looking for experienced Service Advisors who have the drive to meet our goals while maintaining the highest commitment to customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities of an Automotive Service Advisor:
- Works with customers to schedule service work and communicate any additional service needed. Also handle the administrative and customer concerns and comments for the technicians, so that the technicians will diagnose problems correctly. The advisor then translates the technicians’ findings, which may be complex, into language the customer will understand.
- Understanding customers’ requirements and concerns; matching requirements and concerns to various service options.
- Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs.
- Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, taking into account the customers’ schedule.
- Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems; getting customer approval to do additional work and explaining the work performed and the charges being billed.
- Stays current on new products, features, accessories and attends product training as required.
- Maintain a service customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. Must be CSI driven.

Job requirements for an Automotive Service Advisor:
- Strong to desire to succeed with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customers’ expectations and achieve goals.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work Saturday as required. (Hours are 8a-3p only)
- Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
