Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Custodian with expertise or interest in high surface cleaning. The ideal candidate will use advanced technology equipment and elevated cleaning techniques to safely and effectively remove dust particles from surfaces up to 20 feet in the air using extension poles. In addition to general custodial duties, this role will include specialty cleaning services tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high surface dusting using advanced cleaning equipment and extension poles for areas up to 20 feet.
• Carry out general custodial services, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Execute specialty cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:
• Floor care and maintenance (sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing).
• Carpet cleaning and care.
• Window cleaning.
• Use company-provided technology and checklists to document tasks and maintain high standards of service.
• Follow safety protocols when working with elevated cleaning tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are in good working order.
• Collaborate with the team to meet business needs and exceed client expectations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about job progress and challenges.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with high surface dusting techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Comfortable working with extension poles and elevated cleaning tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to innovative cleaning methods and technologies.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and using extension poles or elevated cleaning equipment.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and reaching overhead.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.62 - $18.00 per hour
