Through our transformative “Molly Cares!” program, we go beyond weekly check-ins, empowering seniors to reconnect with their community and break free from feelings of isolation and loneliness.
As Program Manager, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to *expand and energize* our programs in Solano County while leading and enhancing our efforts in Napa County. You’ll be at the forefront of building relationships that matter, overseeing and growing our operations, inspiring and guiding our incredible volunteer base, and ensuring our services genuinely impact the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities
Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the “Molly Cares!” Program, including weekly check-in calls, volunteer check-ins, incoming and outgoing referrals, program evaluation surveys, birthday and holiday greetings and participation in community and peer groups.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and support needed to provide compassionate and effective outreach to seniors. Maintain volunteer involvement and interest through regular communication.
Relationship Building: Build strong partnerships with local senior centers, healthcare providers, and other community organizations to expand the reach and effectiveness of the Molly Cares! Program.
Program Expansion: Explore opportunities to extend the program’s reach into Solano County. Meet program goals of enrolled clients and calls set forth by the Area Agency on Aging.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports to assess program performance, including volunteer engagement, senior satisfaction, and overall program impact. Input paper reports from volunteers digitally. Complete all state required reporting monthly or as requested. Execute program evaluation surveys twice a year. Monitor and keep track of all reports due from volunteers to the Program Manager. Maintain a current list of program participants.
Communication: Work closely with internal team on referrals to address client needs. Respond promptly to volunteer emails and calls regarding client concerns. Ensure detailed notes of referral status in client files are regularly kept up to date.
Additional: Support as needed including but not limited to events, fundraisers, and trainings. (continued)
What We are Looking For
● Bachelor or master’s degree.
● Fluency in English and Spanish is helpful but not required.
● Previous experience working with diverse populations.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients and stakeholders.
● Ability to track detailed projects using excel or comparable software required.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
● Ability to work independently (with supervision) and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
