Home Decor - Interior Plant - Interior Design - Retail Sales
We are currently seeking an energetic and outgoing Part-Time and/or Full-Time Sales Associate to assist in providing a positive shopping experience for the clientele of our Costa Mesa home décor and garden showroom. As a resource for interior designers and an upscale clientele, our retail showroom carries a curated selection of unique and one of a kind vintage home and garden accessories in a vibrant indoor/outdoor garden setting.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in retail sales - preferably within the interior design, lifestyle, home goods, and/or horticulture area.
• Experience and/or interest in interior plants a plus.
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for design and working outdoors in a fun team environment.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Social Media applications.
• Strong customer service background, sales and communication skills.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist clients that enter the showroom.
• Provide excellent customer service and establish lasting customer relationships.
• Execute operational tasks including ringing sales, receiving stock, pricing and maintaining the look of the showroom.
• Execute miscellaneous duties required within the showroom or back office.

Starting pay from $18.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience), quarterly/annual bonuses, paid time off, and employee discounts.
