The Sr. Data Analyst's primary focus will be supporting and advancing initiatives acrossthe Contract Administration, Sales, and Marketing departmentswhile collaborating with the internal Molnlycke team members as well as external vendor teams fordevelopment, implementation and operational solutions.
The Sr. Data Analyst has the opportunity to:
- Research, hypothesize and develop analytical approaches for identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Ability to conceptualize and design innovative models to assess viability of new and ongoing initiatives and programs
- Collaborate with team members from strategy, clinical and new market functions to identify data driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners
- Perform ad-hoc analysis for internal and external stakeholders
- Design and build self-service dashboards to measure performance and assist in directing team's efforts towards initiatives with the largest impact
- Identify, communicate and lead the resolution of data gaps that impede the fulfilment of operational reporting and oversight
Additionally the Sr Data Analyst will:
- Partner across the team to understand business requirements, decision architecture use cases, current challenges, business questions, processes, and related data.
- Develop creative solutions to diverse problems that span data processing, data modelling and BI report development
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to properly understand data and reporting needs
- Support data reporting needs of all groups in the organization by providing and supporting ad-hoc reporting tools, while in some cases creating customized queries
- Be able to use your expertise of data and trends to influence stakeholders and key decisions Implement rules (using Python or any other programming language) & automate data cleansing, mapping, transformation, logging, and exception handling.
- Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.
- Perform data investigation and provide summary to users' questions to ensuring key data issues are resolved and the similar issues do not reoccur
- Build test scripts, perform system testing, produce test reports, and advise product management team on issues or new features needed to ensure system is fully built as per the specifications
- Partner with marketing and sales division to perform advanced analytics like customer segmentation, customer churn using advanced technologies like Microsoft Azure or Python
- Collaborate with finance to support quota modelling and forecasting efforts using advanced analytical tools * Plan a lead role In customer hierarchy management, data cleansing, and data Integrity maintenance
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required, Masters or MBA preferred
- 5 years' experience with data analysis with strong business acumen.
- 2 years' experience with Tableau or Power BI * Very strong preference for Python or another scripting language ie SAS for statistical analysis
- Excellent understanding of data and what it's telling us
- Expert-level SQL experience, skilled at creating useful reports / reporting for internal and external clients, automation, and maintaining delivery platforms
- Strong Excel skills for data manipulation
- Creative problem-solving skills and a strategic perspective
- Excellent proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to frame and break down complex business problems into key components and recommend practical solutions to drive results
- Strongly prefer healthcare Industry experience, mainly dealing with IDNs, GPOs and Distributor
- Employees are required to be fully vaccinated within 30 days of their employment as a requirement of employment. During the first 30 days, if not already fully vaccinated, employees will be required to test weekly at their own expense
