Job Details
As a nurse in our team, you will be working in a dynamic environment that requires quality care in acute and emergent situations. You should have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) being preferred.
Certification Requirements
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
- Relate effectively to patients of all ages, their families, and staff members.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required for consideration.
- At least two years of experience as a staff RN in the Emergency Department prior to taking on travel assignments.
Additional Information
- The traveler will report to the Director of Nursing.
- All Quality Health Solutions (QHS) compliance requirements must be completed and uploaded to the Medefis VMS portal at least 10 days before the start date.
- Queen's hospital is open to hiring Hawaii residents, but they will not be eligible for traveler rates.
- All compliance materials must be submitted 10 days or more before the start date; if not, the traveler may face a delay or cancellation of their assignment.
- Please include a current Nursys report with all submissions.
