Job Description

Company Description: MolQ Entertainment is an American technology and media and entertainment company headquartered in Stamford, CT and international headquarters in London U.K. We are launching two global streaming media platforms including our vMVPD, mQ TV launching 50 global TV networks including our own 24/7 global news and 24/7 sports networks and mQ Films, an independent film, documentary, shorts and original programming global streaming platform.  Our vMVPD mQ TV will launch exclusively in the U.S. in 3Q 2025 and mQ Films will launch in the U.S. in 4Q 2025


About the Position: MolQ Entertainment is recruiting for the position of President of Investments who will identify, evaluate and execute global funding investments for the Company. The incumbent will lead the planning, development and execution of all Investor Relations for MolQ Entertainment ensuring the Company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors and all stakeholders for our projected IPO in Q1 2028. The President of Investments position reports to MolQ Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer.


This is an opportunity to take on a high-level role in a fast growing and pre-IPO company that involves closely working with the senior management team, department heads and other stakeholders as our streaming services mQ TV and mQ Films disrupt the $1 Trillion global streaming industry.


Key Role Specific Requirements:

• This is a highly visible role internally and involves frequent discussions with senior executives to include the CEO, CFO, President of mQ TV and Head of mQ Films and the company’s investment attorney.

• Identify compelling investor opportunities aligned to strategy through primary engagement with US and global media companies investment bankers, private equity, and venture capital investors

• Attend ongoing Wall Street Investment Bank Forums and meetings.

• Drive every aspect of Series A, B & C raises, and subsequent capital raises of the company including origination, deal structuring, contract negotiation and due-diligence for funding deals.

• Establish and oversee the Global Investment Strategy of the company.

• Meet with Senior Management to discuss our strategic investment vision.

• Manage two direct reports who will support the office of the President Investments.

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive, proactive, strategic investor relations program that communicates the company’s value proposition to its constituencies, including analysts, and investors.

• Serve as the company’s information conduit and point of contact to the investor community. Develop and maintain strong relationships of trust and respect with analysts and investors.

• Devise and implement a targeting program that will broaden shareholder ownership.

• Assess Financial & Market Data to make informed investor strategies.

• Manage all potential acquisitions that will sill add value to the overall business planning of company.

• Understand, and communicate, valuation drivers for company and peers.

• Actively engage with investors and potential investors to answer questions and proactively provide information necessary for their analysis.

• Lead due diligence regarding investors including negotiation of terms.

• Understand, monitor, and analyze financial models used by analysts to value and evaluate the company.

• Interact with CFO and Treasurer on an ongoing basis to make sure we are in alignment and meeting the business goals and objectives of the company

• Work closely with the Head of Finance, Controller, Legal Affairs and Senior Management to position the company’s financial reporting activities.

• Manage quarterly investor relations conference calls. Create and manage key messages, scripting and talking points for senior management, prepare comprehensive Q&A, and follow up with investment community.

• Conduct competitive analysis, including development of industry and peer company performance benchmarks. Inform, educate, and coach the senior leadership team regarding short-term and long-term dynamics of the investment and trading marketplaces

• Prepare/direct materials for board of directors to best communicate company position among investor community

• Ensuring compliance with investor regulations and standards.

• Maintain a strong network of relationships within the Investor Community, including General Partners and Limited Partner within Venture Capital.

• Contribute, as Company plans for IPO on company’s proxy solicitation process and shareholder meetings.


Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.

  • 10 years experience in investment banking, investor relations, or sell-side or buy-side research
  • Prior experience originating and raising capital for a technology, media or entertainment company with demonstrated experience in deal execution.
  • High degree of financial literacy with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong project and team management skills – demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive projects through the coordination of multiple resources across different stakeholders.

• Must work effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as well as external audiences.

Salary : $325,000 - $400,000
