In the role of Category Manager- Industrial Supplies & Services (ISS), working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be a team lead in the North America Procurement team, supporting brewery operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of two, developing and executing category strategies, playing a key role in supplier relationship management and supporting the Molson Coors breweries. Categories in scope for you and your team include chemicals, MRO, PPE, brewing gases and other industrial supplies with a total spend of approximately $350M.
This position reports to the Sr Director, Supply Chain Indirect Procurement and works closely with cross functional teams and senior supply chain leaders at our Corporate and Brewery locations in North America as well as opportunities to collaborate on some categories with European counterparts.
The ideal candidate for this role brings a passion for team leadership, business partnership, creative problem solving and change management. This role requires a high level of expertise in negotiating contract terms with external vendors, strategic sourcing principles, the procure-to-pay process and the ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders in order to meet the complex needs of the business.

The Responsibilities
- Taking action to drive culture and on-going development of your team members
- Engage with and influence senior level internal stakeholders to align on needs and priorities
- Lead transformative projects, drive simplification, and best in class ways of working within your categories
- Maintain supplier relationships and performance, lead negotiations, conduct sourcing events
- Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance and other measures of financial value
- Mitigate supply issues of critical materials to minimize brewery downtime
- Deliver annual and long-range business planning, development, and delivery of category strategies
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in procurement or manufacturing/brewery operations
- Expert in category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and contract negotiation skills
- Experience in beverage or fast-moving consumer goods in a multi-national environment preferred
- SAP experience is desired
