The Headlines :
In the role of Maintenance Machinist working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the skilled trades team in Brewery Operations. You will be responsible for set-up, repair, adjustment, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and rebuilding of packaging equipment. You will support the packaging team on allocated lines and shifts to maintain optimum equipment reliability, availability, output rate, and quality at the lowest cost.
This position reports to Asset Care Manager and works closely with our Brewery Workers, Mechanics, and Electricians.
This role pays $40.07 / hour (.50 differential for 2nd shift & .55 for 3rd) and starts with 2 weeks of vacation.
STARTING JANUARY 1st, pay will be increasing to $42.07!
Must be comfortable working either :
2nd : Monday through Friday; 3 PM to 11 PM
3rd : Monday evening through Saturday morning; 11 PM to 7 AM
The Responsibilities :
- Maintain the equipment in the assigned area in reliable condition
- Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner while continuously reducing downtime and waste
- Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild mechanical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications or production requirements
- Works as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision while functioning as a productive team member
- Documents all work performed using the current maintenance computer system & uses this information to make decisions to improve the reliability of the equipment and process
- Other duties as assigned
