COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT INTERN
The Commercial Procurement Intern is an essential part of the pipeline of talent for Molson Coors. This role will be an essential part of the Commercial Procurement team supporting Field Marketing and multiple facets of the Marketing team.
This internship gives you an opportunity to gain valuable experience while working on meaningful projects and tasks that complement the overall team goals. You will gain exposure to working in teams, networking, leading projects, presentations and aiding in enhancing business while developing technical and analytical skills. The assignments provide students with opportunities to develop by building on classroom theory with practical work and to develop and demonstrate their skills. This opportunity may provide opportunities for future openings within MolsonCoors.
Job Description
This opportunity will provide real work experience with challenging and meaningful assignments. As an intern you will be part of the Commercial Procurement team for North America. The Internship Program is a minimum of 12 weeks between May and August where current college students will perform jobs and gain valuable work experience in the following areas:
- Spend analytics across multiple categories to support supplier rationalization
- Facilitation of Requests for Proposals
- Category optimization of Sponsorship agreements
- Opportunity to network and present work performance and outcomes to leadership.
- Work with experienced procurement and commercial professionals in the performance of responsibilities.
- Develop an understanding of Molson Coors business structure, functions, operations and our product offerings
Selection Criteria
- Junior or Senior majoring in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Procurement/Sourcing, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Demonstrates the ability to work in teams and effectively problem solve
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous relevant internship/Co-ops in an operations setting preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to apply learning, adaptability
- Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
