The Headlines:

In the role of an Instrumentation Controls Electrician working at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Equipment Specialist Team in Packaging Maintenance. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our brewery going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible.

This position reports to our Packaging Equipment Specialist leader.

The Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns through calls or scheduled work
• Perform scheduled and assigned work including; PM inspections, repairs, monitoring routes, troubleshooting, replacement, and programming of electrical equipment and controls
• Some mechanical work as required
• Ability to identify risks and safely Lockout, Tag-out, and Try-out those risks.
• Ability to troubleshoot up to 480 Volt equipment, including wiring 3 Phase motors and VFDs
• Ability to install and set up VFDs, troubleshoot controls programming, and calibrate/tune instrumentation devices
• Strong teamwork skills. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

The Other Qualifications:

• Industrial electrical experience up to 480 volts, electrical controls, instrumentation and PLC’s. You must also be proficient troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor based program/diagnostic panels.
• Able to perform a physically demanding role including; standing, kneeling, climbing, walking, and lifting. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have great inner-personal communication and can effectively work with your team and production operations teams
• You are serious about delivering results, taking pride in the work you do, and are able to take direction and understand expectations
• You have a high school diploma or a GED
• You are at least 21 years of age
