The Headlines:
In the role of Technical Architect working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America IT team. The person is responsible for providing architecture consulting support on a portfolio of solution developments and enhancements as well as developing IT strategies for development, deployment, delivery and support, ensuring consistency with enterprise initiatives.
The Responsibilities:
- Act as lead architect on key projects, providing architecture consulting support on a portfolio of solution enhancements that may be multi-skilled or platform specific
- Lead in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools to match business requirements, ensuring consistency across all user groups
- Maintain holistic understanding of systems and environments, serving as approval for functional and technical specifications which cross applications and/or solutions
- Contribute to the development of the enterprise architecture and the service and solution architecture through application of appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces along with recognizing potential areas of improvement
- Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration, ensuring correct application of relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices
The Other Qualifications:
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 6 years of experience in information technology or related business management experience
- You have a strong background in architecting, migrating, and supporting multi-domain enterprise Active Directory environments. You have experience with Azure Active Directory
- You have experience architecting and supporting Modern Management of Windows 10.
- Knowledge/understanding of O365 capabilities a plus
- Understanding of strategic issues with a strong authority on the systems development life-cycle and typical issues associated throughout the process
- Practical knowledge of the organisation’s IT infrastructure and software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques
- Sound knowledge of change management, configuration management, reliability and safety methods and the use of metrics
- Skilled in project risk management
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills and enterprise mindset
- You are deadly serious about results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering
