The Headlines:
Responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting machine tool room equipment, manufacturing custom machine components, surfacing and resurfacing tooling used to manufacture two piece aluminum beverage containers.
The Responsibilities:
Requires machine shop experience and the ability to set-up and operate machines to close tolerance dimensions with CNC mills, lathes and surface grinders. AutoCAD and Fanuc control experience preferred and the position requires the ability to read blueprints and drawings. An ability to use machine shop precision measuring tools. Possess written and verbal communication skills. Computer knowledge and the ability to work in a team environment are required. This is a 3rd shift position (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.).
The Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of machine tool operational experience.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- 1-3 years’ experience tool manufacturing experience.
- Ability to use hand tools and machine tools properly and safely.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of CNC mills, lathes and surface grinders.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Fanuc controls.
- Tool and component manufacturing with minimal quality defects.
