MillerCoors, Milwaukee Brewery, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking full time Brewery Workers with mechanical abilities. The qualified candidate will work within a union environment while having the ability to work on all shifts, including required daily and weekend overtime. As a Bargaining Unit employee at the Milwaukee Brewery, successful candidates will be a part of a production team which requires operating production equipment, cleaning, forklift operation, participating in team meetings at the beginning of each shift, in addition to other production tasks.
Pay starts at $19.62 and then after probationary period of 180 days goes up to $24.12. This position offers Full Benefits.
The successful candidates will have the following attributes:
* 3 years’ manufacturing experience in an operator based maintenance role. Performing set up, operation, changeover and maintenance of equipment, systems, and tooling.
* Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in use of problem solving tools.
* Employees must be able to function in a fast-paced team environment.
* Ability to make decisions in team based setting.
* Must be computer literate.
* Forklift operating experience
* Ability to perform frequent physical activity in the form of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc. Capable of frequently lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
Position Requirements:
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* Must possess either a high school degree or equivalent. Advanced education with a technical emphasis to include completion of an accredited 2-year college degree program, military experience or apprenticeship program or equivalent work related technical training and education preferred.
* Must successfully complete a detailed background check, drug screen and post-offer physical.
* Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, behavioral assessments, and panel interviews.
Additional Key Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
* Experience in a team based manufacturing environment
* Operator based maintenance or manufacturing maintenance assignment.
* Quick tooling changeover
* Problem Solving Experience – A3, 5 Why, Fishbone
* Strong computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Maintenance Knowledge to include: mechanical drive experience, mechanical alignment techniques, basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor/gearbox installation and alignment, alignment of sprockets and sheaves, changing out of pump seals, and vacuum and liquid pump knowledge.
* Ability to interpret process and instrumentation diagrams.
