About the Position:
The Electrical and Automation Expert will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and automation subsystems within our production facility. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Train and mentor electrical, electronics, and instrumentation technicians.
- Analyze and interpret electrical schematics and user manuals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and controls issues.
- Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and maintain automation servers.
- Manage, backup, and organize all automation-related documentation for the facility.
Requirements:
- 2-year certification from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- 5 years of strong industrial electrical background in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as electrical schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals in English.
- Ability to write routine reports, procedural manuals, and correspondence in English.
- Ability to effectively present information in both one-on-one and in group situations, and respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responding appropriately to changing priorities.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
