Position Summary
The Regulatory Specialist evaluates, maintains, and reports on compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines to provide regulatory guidance. This role requires a Juris Doctor degree.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures in specific areas of law relevant to Moms Meals.
- Monitor and distribute information to business areas and executive management regarding new and pending legislation, regulations, and developments.
- Work closely with the General Counsel to review and provide guidance on applicable laws, regulations, and rules impacting Moms Meals.
- Collaborate with the Director of Government Affairs and business areas to develop policy positions, statements, and strategies to influence public policy outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze the impact of emerging or revised laws, regulations, and enforcement actions on the business.
- Provide regulatory support and direction to client programs and initiatives as needed.
- Partner with internal parties to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate with third parties to research, investigate, or communicate changes related to regulatory updates.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs or a similar role.
- Experience navigating the healthcare regulatory environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, including prioritization abilities.
- Able to work independently.
