As a result of company growth, Innovative Pain Care (IPC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP); Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of providers at an independent interventional pain management clinic located in Mount Pleasant, WI. The NP/PA will work in close collaboration with our physicians and health care team members to serve our patients as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Responsibilities:
- Provide quality medical care, evaluation and treatment to 15-22 patients each day
- Communicate and collaborate with supervising physicians regarding treatment plans
- Educate patients and their family members regarding interventional pain procedures
- Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of patient encounters
- Review imaging and lab reports, make necessary recommendations based on results
- Perform in-office procedures including knee injections, shoulder injections, trigger point injections, bursa injections, and occipital nerve blocks
- Assessment postoperative procedures
- Collaborating with fellow advanced practice providers regarding patient care
- Stay current on opioid prescribing guidelines outlined by the CDC, DEA and State of Wisconsin
Requirements:
- Completion of bachelor’s and master’s degrees from accredited programs
- Must maintain a current medical license and DEA license
- 2-3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider is preferred
- Experience in pain management or orthopedics is preferred
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed
- Ability to participate in weekend on-call schedule (approximately once every 6-8 weeks)
