Job Summary:
Momar, Inc., a privately owned, specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking on Operations Specialist l to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Specialist l is responsible for supporting and optimizing the company's day-to-day operations. The Operations Specialist l will collaborate within the AquaTrol division and with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor the division's primary inbox and assigned tasks using company-wide help desk software.
- Navigate the electronic filing system to file and retrieve backup documentation related to customer and vendor orders.
- Assign tasks to the appropriate team members and follow up on all requests to ensure timely responses.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via email and telephone in a professional and customer-focused manner, routing inquiries that require escalation.
- Perform data entry in the ERP system.
- Generate daily reports on shipping and order statuses.
- Generate daily reports on railcar shipments for inventory control.
- Process timesheets and per diems for weekly payroll.
- Process expense reports, ensuring proper classification and matching receipts.
- Retrieve, file, and route documents from online vendor sites.
- Develop a basic understanding of division operational tasks and how this position's responsibilities contribute to operational goals.
- Collaborate within the division and with all departments involved in the order fulfillment process to streamline the order-to-cash workflow.
- Participate in various special projects and carry out additional duties assigned by management to contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

- Proven track record of meeting deadlines consistently, even in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient with computers, MS Office Suite, and PDF editing software to navigate and use electronic filing system.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of operations experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry
Physical Requirements: Sedentary
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs unassisted.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
