Full-Time Instructional Support Professional – High School
Job Description
The Full-Time Instructional Support Professional (ISP) will provide instructional support at Momence High School under the direction of assigned partner teachers or administration. The ISP will be responsible for managing students, assisting in delivering content, and ensuring a structured learning environment as needed for student needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred
- Strong student management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Reports to:
Building Administration
Essential Job Functions:
- Work under the direction of partner teachers to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classrooms effectively to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional activities as provided by classroom teachers.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs and learning styles.
- Guide students during instructional time, transitions, and other assigned duties.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to classroom teachers as needed.
- Participate in institute days, professional development, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
- Assist in various school activities, as directed by building administration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the school administration.
Terms of Employment:
One School Year Contract (2025-2026 school year)
180 days
