Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in various settings such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain custodial equipment and supplies; report any maintenance issues or repairs needed for facilities.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
