Job Summary
The Layout Specialist is responsible for accurately pulling garments to match orders by size, color and style, and prepare them for printing operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes Other Duties As Required)

Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes Other Duties As Required)
- Arrives to work on-time and in the proper condition to perform assigned duties as scheduled – attendance is a basic work requirement.
- Clocks-in and -out according to policy.
- Follows all published work and safety rules for the facility.
- Stages garments on assigned shelves or in assigned staging area per protocol after being dropped off in layout area by pickers.
- Confirms necessary material is in the staging area based on the production schedule, identifies any errors made in picking process, and takes appropriate action.
- Pulls garments from the staging area according to the sizes, colors and styles indicated on the work order, ensuring that the counts for each size and style are correct.
- Inspects garments for defects.
- Lays out orders on layout tables or train, sorting garments by size or by protocol.
- Cleans work area daily and as required.
- Completes all daily tasks, as assigned.
- Meets individual and team productivity and quality goals.
- May be cross trained in other areas of the department based on business needs.

- This position works in a non-temperature controlled warehouse. It can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
- The noise level is moderate. Hearing protection is typically not required.
- Gloves are provided for hand protection when applicable.

- Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.
- Dress appropriate.
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Shorts and tee shirts are permitted in warm weather months.
- Sweatshirts and sweaters are permitted in cool weather months.
- Apparel may not contain offensive language or images.
