Duration : 12 Months

Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Core Java, Redshift, and Spark.

This role involves developing and maintaining applications that support our company's mission to deliver innovative solutions.

The candidate will not be required to travel.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Core Java to support business needs

Utilize Redshift for efficient data storage and retrieval in applications.

Implement data processing and analytics using Spark to handle large datasets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions

Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all geospatial applications.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Document technical specifications and user guides for developed applications.

Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in development.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Core Java with proven experience in developing applications.

Have hands-on experience with Redshift for data storage and retrieval.

Demonstrate proficiency in using Spark for data processing and analytics

Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.

Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends

Experience with other tools and technologies is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and services is nice to have.

Knowledge of database management and optimization techniques is beneficial.

Ability to mentor and guide junior developers is an advantage.

Strong documentation skills are essential.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
