To Qualify as a Hospitality Aid:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior experience working with the elderly population
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
- Empathy and care for those that need help
- Effective communication skills
Some of Your Responsibilities as a Hospitality Aid Include:
- Assists Nursing in providing quality care to Residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
- Assists in tasks including:
- Deliver water and snacks to residents
- Deliver linen and supplies
- Transporting residents in wheelchairs to/from events
- Take menu/orders from residents
- 1-on-1 with resident who have behavioral challenges or need socialization
- Bed making
- Assisting with Recreational Activities or Resident Smoke Breaks
