Momentous is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with responsibilities spanning invoice processing, payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation.

Momentous is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with responsibilities spanning invoice processing, payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices and payments via Bill.com
- Issue payments (check, ACH, wire) and ensure timely disbursements
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain organized AP records
- Manage W-9s and vendor onboarding documentation
- Respond to vendor inquiries and prepare regular AP reports for management
- Ensure adherence to internal payment policies
- Download and post expenses in Brex and reconcile statement to Quickbooks
- Record and apply customer payments (check, ACH, credit card)
- Maintain and organize AR records and contact lists
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Partner with Sales to follow up on outstanding balances and implement collection processes
- Respond to customer invoice/payment inquiries
- Generate AR reports and assist with monthly variance explanations versus budget
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 years of hands-on A/R and A/P experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Optimistic and can-do attitude to help push for resolutions
- Creative problem solver with a sense of curiosity; able to work independently to produce quality results
- Familiar with financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and their interrelationships
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables); experience with QuickBooks, Shopify, Bill.com, and Brex preferred
- Passion for health and wellness; experience in the supplement industry is a plus
