About the Role
We are looking for a reliable LPN to provide professional and considerate care for invalids and injured individuals.
You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor, utilizing your skills to deliver diverse basic care services while maintaining patience and composure.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record patients' medical histories
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects
- Monitor patients' condition, track fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and perform other basic medical care tasks as needed
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when required
- Communicate effectively with patients' family members or friends to offer guidance and instruction
Requirements
- Proven experience as an LPN or similar role
- Ability to undertake various care tasks and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Physical stamina to perform job duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stressful situations
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF LPN LICENSE PROGRAM IS A REQUIREMENT
