Job Description:
Momentum Behavior Analysis, the leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis services in the Upper Cumberland, is seeking a Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician. The Behavior Therapist/RBT will work 1:1 with children in the clinic setting. In this clinic setting, you would be helping equip children and young adults to learn skills and adaptive behaviors that will help them be successful in their daily lives and helping families achieve the goals they have for their families. Job Duties:
- Have fun.
- Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual sessions.
- Run skill acquisition programs using evidence based curriculum.
- Collect data during treatment and provide feedback to supervising BCBA regarding efficacy of treatment.
- Work with caregivers on how to implement ABA in the home setting.
- Participate in the maintenance and development of materials and programming as directed by supervising BCBA.
- Other relevant job duties as assigned by the Owner/Clinical Director or other administrators.
Education and Licensure Expectations:
- Willingness to complete 40-hour RBT training, which will be provided by Momentum Behavior Analysis if not already in possession of the BACB Registered Behavior Technician credential.
- Pass exam required for Registered Behavior Technician credential within the first 60 days of employment if not in possession of an RBT credential.
- Maintain Registered Behavior Technician credential.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must clear a national and local criminal background check.
- Minimum of a high school degree.
