Job description:
Momentum Behavior Services provides high-quality, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for a variety of general custodial, groundskeeping, and general maintenance tasks that assure the facility, grounds and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and attractive in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
This position will be working in our Rochester and Byron MN locations.
Responsibilities:
- Performs general custodial tasks including, but not limited to, removing trash as needed, washing windows /walls, moving furniture and supplies and fill-in housekeeping duties if needed
- Performs floor care such as cleaning, assisting with buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility
- Assists with building maintenance work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of the facility
- Assists with grounds maintenance, including but not limited to lawn care, snow removal
- Assists with general repairs to facility and residents’ equipment
- Operates numerous hand and power tools, and may be required to use various machines, such as floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance equipment safely
- Some light plumbing or light electrical will be required for this position and assist management with all other duties and responsibilities required by the organization
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in general cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Ability to read basic operating instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with the public and other employees
- Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities
- Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
- High level of organization, reliability, accountability, and independence
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$27 an hour
