Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hybrid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Case Supervisor to join Momentum Behavior Services. This unique role combines direct client interaction and supervision responsibilities, serving both as an RBT providing direct therapy and as a mid-level supervisor overseeing a caseload under the guidance of a BCBA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ABA principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Services as RBT:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA to improve clients' social, motor, language, and adaptive skills.
- Collect and record data on client behavior accurately and consistently during ABA sessions.
- Use a variety of ABA techniques to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
- Communicate regularly with BCBAs regarding client treatment plans and client progress.
- Case Supervision:
- Assist the BCBA in managing a caseload by conducting treatment fidelity checks and ensuring RBTs' adherence to treatment plans.
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and training to RBTs to enhance service delivery and professional growth.
- Monitor client progress and participate in regular team meetings to discuss treatment updates and adjustments.
- Assist in the development of program materials and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards in the provision of ABA services.
- Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers regarding progress and goals.
Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree or enrollment in Master’s program preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an RBT or in a similar role within an ABA setting.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to collaborative team work.
- Proficient in using ABA software and tools for data collection and analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
Working Conditions:
- Clinic based position.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate client needs and supervision responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
