About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled professional to support our financial operations as a Part-Time Contract Accountant.
This individual will be responsible for processing weekly accounts payable and bi-weekly payroll, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and ADP payroll, strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial reporting, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and payroll
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare financial statements
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Prepare 1099 forms and other returns
- Collaborate with CPA for year-end reporting and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and ADP
