As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the property, and providing high-quality service to our residents. You will work alongside a dynamic team of maintenance professionals to maintain the property’s physical condition and create an excellent living environment for residents.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be involved in a variety of maintenance tasks including preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and emergency response. You will work to ensure the property is well-maintained, clean, and safe for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Maintenance: Perform maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general repairs.
• Work Order Management: Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain the property’s physical appearance, ensuring that common areas, grounds, and buildings are clean, safe, and presentable.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist in implementing a preventive maintenance program to avoid costly repairs and reduce downtime.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency maintenance requests quickly and effectively, minimizing disruption to residents.
• Inventory Control: Assist in managing maintenance inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring accurate records.
• Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a multi-family property setting.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general property upkeep.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess issues and provide effective solutions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours as needed.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA, OSHA) are a plus but not required.
