We are hiring a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to work at our group home in Lomita, CA.
About the Job
The QIDP will develop and monitor training goals for adults with disabilities. They will work closely with our residents to understand their physical and cognitive abilities and design personalized training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe and welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities.
- Design and implement individualized training programs.
- Supervise the development and implementation of each person's Individual Service Plan (ISP).
- Oversee evaluations conducted by consultants and ensure they are completed on time.
- Implement Behavior Management Programs.
- Assure quality care is provided to all individuals supported.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Able to work on-call weekends and after hours.
- Strong desire to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
