Momentum PTN is hiring a Social Skills and Community Integration Assistant (SSCI) to assist leaders in running small groups of children ages 4-12 years, both on site and in the community. As an SSCI Assistant, you will assist with reaching individual developmental goals, while building appropriate social and community skills. Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent; requiredEnrolled in or completion of bachelor's degree; requiredBasic knowledge of child development and familiarity with MPTN programs and services.Excellent interpersonal skillsRead, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities; requiredBilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish; preferredAbility to maintain confidentialityCommunicate and work professionally and cooperatively with othersSuccessfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, TB test, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United StatesAbility to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.With 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct support for individuals with disabilities in Southern California.
