Role : Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD / DO)

Schedule : Full-time with flexible shift options
Setting : Emergency Department
Shift Length : 12-hour shifts (both day and night shifts available)
Patient Volume : Moderate to high volume, depending on shift
Support : Experienced medical team including nurses, specialists, and support staff
Key Responsibilities :
Provide emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Triage, assess, and manage a wide variety of emergency conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.
Perform necessary emergency medical procedures and stabilize patients as required.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all relevant patient information.
Ensure high-quality patient care and safety, addressing emergencies as they arise.
Qualifications :
MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification / Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Active Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous experience in an Emergency Department preferred.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, handling urgent situations efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working effectively as part of a team.
