Role : Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD / DO)

Job Type : Locum
Schedule : Full-time with flexible scheduling options
Setting : Emergency Department
Shift Length : 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)
Patient Volume : Moderate patient volume with support staff
Key Responsibilities :
Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Triage, assess, and manage a wide range of emergency conditions.
Perform life-saving procedures and stabilize patients in critical condition.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, specialists, and hospitalists to deliver optimal care.
Document patient care, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
Ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols during emergency care.
Qualifications :
MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification / Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain one.
Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based setting.
