Position : Locum Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location : Vashon, Washington
Key Responsibilities :
Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, physical exams, and preventive care.
Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Offer health education and counseling to patients and families on wellness, nutrition, lifestyle, and disease prevention.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to deliver coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
Manage patient care independently, with access to a supportive healthcare team for consultation and collaboration as needed.
Perform minor procedures and screenings as required for patient care.
Qualifications :
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Washington or the ability to obtain one.
Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is preferred.
Strong clinical skills in family practice with experience treating patients of all ages.
Ability to work autonomously in a primary care setting while collaborating with a supportive healthcare team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
Previous family practice experience is preferred, but new grads with a strong clinical background will be considered.
