Position : Permanent Physician Assistant (PA) Orthopedic Surgery
Location : Coos Bay, Oregon
Key Responsibilities :
Assist orthopedic surgeons in performing surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
Conduct patient assessments and perform physical examinations to evaluate orthopedic conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
Provide follow-up care, including wound care, cast application, and rehabilitation support.
Collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications :
Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a specialization or experience in orthopedic surgery.
Valid Oregon state license or eligibility to obtain one.
Proven experience in an orthopedic surgery setting, including assisting in surgeries.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
