Key Responsibilities :
Assess and treat patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or functional limitations resulting from injury, illness, or congenital conditions.
Create and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to enhance patients' physical abilities and overall quality of life.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluations to determine patient needs and track progress.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes.
Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and responses to therapy.
Maintain precise and current medical records and documentation.
Qualifications :
Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Valid Connecticut medical license.
Experience in a rehabilitation or similar clinical setting is preferred.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage diverse rehabilitation cases.
