Requirements : Specialty : OB / GYNEducation : MD / DOLicense : AlabamaCertifications : BE / BCFacility Details : Details of the Opportunity : Seeking OB / GYN Physician to work in a 344 bed tertiary hospital setting.Type of EMR utilized : Athena (clinic), Altera Paragon (hospital) integrated EMR system between clinic and hospital including imaging.
Clinic Details / Practice Support : Administrative Support Staff Each Physician has a Nurse or MA that works with them on their shift.Schedule / Volume : Expected Schedule : 8-4 : 30 Monday to Thursday and 8-12 FridayAverage Caseload : 20-25 patients / dayPatient Population : All agesAverage total month for deliveries : 45-50 for total group OB services to Gyn services : 50 / 50Hospital Details : Surgeries scheduled as needed and block timeBoth, but eligible for block time after 6 monthsSurgical Robotics availableLevel 2 Nursey, more specialty care2 infant ventilationsWill stabilize, but if requires more than a few hours, the patient will go to higher care.No Midwives or Laborists currentlyCall : Each doc chooses to take their own practice call, but the others will cover at any time.
